FUJIFILM Wako introduces LIMUSAVE MT-7500, the new generation of instruments for the measurement of (1→3)-β-D-glucan in serum or plasma. Compared to the predecessor system, the smaller device has 10 measuring stations and can be expanded to 30. It can be operated intuitively and allows random access to the measuring positions.
The assay is based on LAL (Limulus Amebocyte lysate) cascade reactions measured by a kinetic turbidimetric method. The instrument LIMUSAVE MT-7500 and related equipment measure the analyte quantitatively by a single test procedure, allowing for immediate and simple on-site testing by labs at medical centers.
Here you can find a product video of the LIMUSAVE MT-7500 and learn more about the application of the beta-D-glucan test with the help of the new device generation.
