L-Type Total Bilirubin Assay
L-Type Total Bilirubin Assay
Wako L-Type Total Bilirubin is a liquid stable reagent for the quantitative determination of total bilirubin in serum.
Product information
L-Type Total Bilirubin Assay is an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) test for the quantitative determination of Total Bilirubin (T-BIL) in serum.
T-BIL is a combination of direct and indirect bilirubin. Unconjugated (indirect) bilirubin is transported to the liver bound to albumin where it becomes conjugated (direct) with glucuronic acid and excreted. Elevated total bilirubin is indicative of impairment of the liver.
L-Type Total Bilirubin Assay is a liquid type reagent that is based on a chemical oxidation method utilizing vanadate as an oxidizing agent (vanadate oxidation method).
Reagent 1, Reagent 2 and a calibrator are required for this assay.
All reagents and calibrators are CE-certified.
