WPBG-018 is a photo base generator which can be used for a variety of applications. It generates diethylamine by photo-irradiation and has an absorption band in the long wavelength region. It has also an excellent solubility.

In photo polymerization processes such as UV and near UV photocure, WPBG products are not subject to inhibition by the oxygen in the air like photo radical generators. They are less likely to cause corrosion problems and the denaturation of cured films like photo acid generators.

The photo generators of the WPBG series generate bases of various basicity, which provide different curing speed and photo-sensitivity. Various grades of WPBG products from high quality, high purity (HP) to general-purpose grades are available.
