Automated Hyaluronic Acid LT test in new packaging size

From September 2009 Wako offers the HA LT test kit in a smaller packaging size. Thus HA LT is also appropriate for laboratories with a lower test throughput.

The new kit size (order number 992-71185) contains 2 bottles of reagent 1 each with 15 ml and 2 bottles of reagent 2 each with 6 ml. In the case of instructions for use requiring 150 µl R1 and 50 µl R2 (e. g. Hitachi^® 917) and depending on instrument settings, a maximum 100 tests per reagent bottle pair are available. Due to the open bottle stability of 1 month at 2°C-10°C also labs with lower sample numbers are able to use this innovative test.

The test shows a high linearity and a superior precision and sensitivity. This is demonstrated in the first external evaluation.
